When you submit an enquiry, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, company, email address, phone number and message. We may also process business contact information provided during later conversations with KP.

Why we use personal data

We use enquiry and business contact information to respond to requests, discuss products or supply requirements, prepare quotations, manage supplier or customer relationships and maintain business records.

Lawful bases

We process enquiry information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform or manage a business relationship, and for KP's legitimate interests in responding to B2B enquiries and operating its business.

Processors and service providers

This website is prepared for deployment through Netlify. Netlify may process website hosting and form submission data on KP's behalf. GitHub is used to store and deploy the website source. Email systems used by KP may process messages sent to or from sales@kptrading.uk.

Retention

We keep enquiry and business contact information only for as long as needed to respond to the enquiry, manage the business relationship and meet legal, accounting or record-keeping requirements.

International transfers

Some service providers may process data outside the UK. Where this applies, KP expects appropriate safeguards to be used, such as adequacy regulations, standard contractual clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms used by the relevant provider.

Your rights

You may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability of your personal data. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand website visits and improve the site. Google processes usage information, including page views, browser and device information, online identifiers and interactions measured by the Google tag, to provide reports to KP. Our custom events measure phone link clicks, email link clicks and successful enquiry form submissions; they do not include form contents or contact details. Google Analytics only loads after you accept analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time using Cookie settings. Withdrawal stops future analytics collection on the site but does not delete data already collected.
